Autumn 2024 was the first year we used our Simtech TS450WP in anger to direct drill our 250 hectares of winter cover crops in some challenging conditions. I’m pleased to say that although there were a lot of different seed sizes to establish we have got a satisfactory cover which will protect our soils, build some fertility and help smother weeds in our organic system. This simply well-designed drill has achieved all of this with a first-class experienced team behind it when required. This versatile drill requires low HP and leaves little footprint due to its well-balanced design, with the added advantages of low running costs. To conclude: This is a well-designed competitively priced Direct Drill and a good weapon to have in your arsenal!
