The Fentech Agri Weedswiper uses a no-drip pad system to wipe chemical onto target species within arable and grasslands. An electronic hydrostat controller monitors the pad moisture levels and ensures that it is kept at the optimum saturation point for good transfer of chemical. This ‘contact’ method of application is an efficient and effective use of herbicide as it is only used when it touches the plant, this also means that the wiper has the ability to work in windy conditions or sensitive areas like wetlands and conservation areas where spraying wouldn’t be permitted.
